Problem to Solve
Illustrate the alphabet in a unique and fun way.
Creative SOLUTION
I decided to merge Leonardo da Vinci sketches with the steampunk aesthetic. Every letter is created with the idea that it is less of a letter and more of a tool that just so happens to look a letter. I tried to think of tools that would harness the power of electricity, steam, hydraulics or tension. The solution was to create a very intriguing presentation of the alphabet that is fun to visually explore and guess at the practical function of each “tool”.
